What type of training methods do you use?
We use positive reinforcement only training methods. We do not work with punishment methods such as prong collars or shock collars. However, in special circumstance we will use vibration collars (for example: if your dog is deaf and you need a reliable way to get their attention).
Can you help me if I live outside your service area?
Absolutely! We offer phone or video consultations; which include a detailed discussion about your pet, your goals, and any challenges you have been facing. Together we will come up with an in-depth plan of action to get you and your pup on the road to success. We have 30-minute sessions available to cover routine training topics. We also have full 1 hour long sessions to tackle more challenging topics. Any problem you are facing, we can help. Just remember: dogs don’t do bad things, they do dog things. And the most important goal of our phone sessions will be to increase your understanding of your dog and their behavior. Our sessions will give you the skills you need to confidently approach changing your dogs behavior.
